"I'm a Cowboy who sings."
People always called Rusty, "A real singing cowboy. " But for Rusty, being a cowboy came second nature. Singing was his third biggest love. You might ask what was his first... That would be Amy.

Rusty joined the Sons of the Pioneers in 1963 and toured with the group for a period spanning 23 years.
His solo Album "American Cowboy" was listed in the top 100 western albums of all time.
