Son's of the Pioneers

Rusty joined the Son's of the Pioneers in 1963 and sang with them for a period spanning 21 years.

While traveling with the group, Rusty enjoyed seeing the sights, visiting museums, going fishing in wilderness all over America.

While performing with the Pioneers they were booked to perform two circuses. At first he was reluctant to do this. He liked performing at Rodeos and other great cowboy events. But it didn't take long for him to start enjoying talking with the animal trainers and loving his time with the Circus.

Roy Rogers and Dale Evans became as close as family to our family.
